Effects of Isolation on human attitude
Effects of Isolation on human
attitude&
How we can handle this situation in a
good way
A group of 170 researchers
who works in sociology department is researching on human attitude and thinking
after lockdown. Actually they want to find a change that came in attitude and behavior
after this lockdown. This research is being done in Pakistan. This group is
consist of around 73% males and rest are females. The ages of the researchers
are in between 22 to 40. Today they shared a partial data of initial 10 days
after lockdown. This research tells us how fast a change is coming on human
attitude.
On 23 March 2020, when
people knew that this lockdown have to be imposed and everything i.e. shops,
offices and transportation will be closed. The first reaction was an action of
excitement and even it was a little happy reaction. Positivity was a little higher
as compared to previous normal routine. They were feeling that something new is
going to happen just because of this change. After a couple of days the level
of their excitement and jubilation started falling down and on the contrary side
the level of their anxiety and distress started going upward. When news started
coming from different countries that Corona pandemic is spreading rapidly, casualties
rate is going high day by day, millions of people has lost their jobs and
millions have shortage of food then this anxiety started transforming in fear
gradually. From last two to three days; frustration, intolerance and impatience
is started developing in many prisoners/victims. Most of them are getting used
to hyper on minor issues. This research is continue and will be published soon
after its completion.
Now in this situation how
we can overcome this problem. I am going to share with you some effective ideas
and by using these ideas you can utilize this time in a good way.
1- Reduce your Screen time
Initially It was seems
that if we will be at homes, we will be spend more time with our family but it
did not happen. Our screen time has increased and most of the time we are using
our mobile, laptop and TV. Unfortunately, we have been watching same news about
coronavirus on these gadgets. However, our fear is going high instead of
cutting down. So try to minimize the use of these things and spend more time
with your beloveds. Try to talk about pleasant old memories and great lessons
with your family.
2- Avoid multitasking
When we are alone, never
do multitasking. It is observed that eating food, watching TV and use of mobile
is being done simultaneously now a days. This multitasking impacts a lot on
your brain and make it noisy and disturbed. The time which we have to spend
with family should be used to talk with family members and when we are alone,
try to meditate about yourself and the purpose for which you have sent in this
world. The best way of meditation is worship of GOD.
3. Tendency of overeating
Staying home we eat again
and again after short intervals. By doing this our health gets disturbed which
eventually resulted frustration and anxiety. So avoid overeating and eating after
short periods.
4. Do exercise
Exercise is very crucial
for our body and immune system so without it we may fall into depression.
Push-ups, jumps, sit-ups and walking on roof is enough now a days.
5. Believe on faith
Believe on faith is very
important in our life because it gives us power, energy, positivity, and it
boosts our immune system as well. Do worship and read religious books as much
as you can so that you can stay yourself in a positive direction.
[Stay homes and stay
blessed]
